The casino gets its benefit practically always. This true is known to everybody. Many people checked up this true on their own experience. But nevertheless a set of people constantly come to the casino to play and voluntary leave there money!

It should be pleasant and comfortable for a client in the casino. He gets free-of-charge drinks and snacks due to the casino. He sits in comfortable armchairs and listens to pleasant music. Nothing disturbs him. There are not clocks in the casino, as a rule. Therefore it is rather difficult to define the time.



But everywhere there is a lot of day sunlight. Bright light confuses players. These are psychological tricks. The purpose of them is to disorient the person’s sense.

The effect of “almost a prize” forces the player to overestimate the chances of victory. Players overestimate their ability to keep the control over the situation. They think that they are precisely able stop when it is necessary.

Such human self-confidence is familiar to everyone and similar to the statement of the category “I can stop smoking when I want”. What for should I stop, when the red has already dropped out 5 times successively (at the rate on black)? Especially if you have spent all the money to make the following “certainly advantageous” rate!

Casinos don’t gamble! But their guests do. The decor and ambiance of a casino is not a gamble that maybe the guests will like it. Everything is well thought out and designed to encourage the casino guests to stay and enjoy themselves. So what are these little gems which keep casinos hitting the jackpot and getting people through their doors? Any visitor to Las Vegas or a large casino around the world will realise that once they walk through the doors they exit reality and enter a luxurious dreamland. The flashing lights and bright colours get would be gamblers into a trance/euphoric state. So how can a casino be designed in such a way that it encourages people to gamble more and for longer?

By playing the tables in Las Vegas or other large casinos it can be disorienting experience. This is due to the lack of clocks and natural daylight. No watches on dealers, no windows but fresh oxygen, bright lights and the chance to win a million and change your life forever. Players are not able to distinguish between night and day inside the heart of a casino. Some casinos offer free drinks and snacks to keep players happy so that they are unlikely to move from where they are. Extra oxygen being pumped in to some casinos helps keep players alert and wide awake into the early hours of the morning. I have also heard that pheromones have allegedly been released from US machines to encourage aggressive gambling. But this seems a bit overambitious. There's nothing like an almost win to encourage a player to keep putting coins into the slot machine or laying their chips on the table.

An almost win will get a player to over-estimate their chances of winning. I suppose they think oh! I almost won if I play a bit longer this machine is going to pay out! When a gambler feels their skill can influence the outcome of the game like: throwing the dice they get a feeling of control and power which develops that keeps them gambling longer. There is also the option of loyalty cards. Sun International has the (Most Valued Guest) MVG card and other casinos have their own version of something similar. From them the casino staff gets to know more about their regular players. What they like, how regularly they play, which of the machines is their favourite, what they like to eat and drink on the floor, when they have won and when its their birthday so they can be made a fuss over. The more you play the better discounts you get. Ideally players want to progress to something like a gold card where they get the biggest discounts and are the first to be invited to big tournaments. If you get enough points on your card players are then entitled to lots of vouchers for free meals, free transport, free entertainment, free drinks and even free hotel rooms. I am sure it is the pleasure and power principle which keeps people coming back to casinos.

Thirty-eight and a half million visitors enjoy the sound and sights of Las Vegas every year. Las Vegas is the most populous city in the state of Nevada United States and an internationally known gambling vacation entertainment and shopping destination. It was established in 1905 and officially became a city in 1911.and it is the largest U.S. city. With so many things to see and do in the is Adult Playground you can not do them in one day. The city has world class casinos hotels nightclubs sporting events adventure tours famous shows and art thrilling rides.

The Las Vegas Monorail runs on the east side of The Strip. The Deuce is a double decker bus which provides service to most major resorts on The Strip.
 

When Dean Martin died in 1995 the lights along the strip were dimmed in a sign of respect to him and in 2005 Las Vegas renamed Industrial Road Dean Martin Drive. Major attraction in Las Vegas are the casinos and the most famous ones line Las Vegas Boulevard South also know as the Las Vegas Strip. Downtown Las Vegas began to suffer in the 1990s when the Strip expanded. This is when Fremont Street Experience was built to draw tourists downtown.

Fremont Street is located in the heart of the downtown casino such as Golden Nugget, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and the Binions Horseshoe. The attraction is a barrel vault canopy which is 90 feet high it covers four blocks and 1500 feet. Before each show starts the casinos turn their outside light out, the street are blocked for safety reasons. The initial display contained about 2.1 million light bulbs controlled by 32 computers located in kiosks on the mall. The sound system, using speakers suspended over the mall, was rated at 350,000 watts. The underside of the canopy is covered with an LED display and built by the L G Corporation, programmed to show periodic sound-and-light presentations after dark.

Almost all stores and restaurants are open 24 hours a day for you night owls. Within walking distance or a short drive from all major resort hotels, shoppers will find vast malls displaying a wide range of products to satisfy those in search of bargains, eateries, afternoon entertainment, domestic and imported merchandise, brand names, fine art, couture creations, casual and fine attire, diamonds and gold. You will not be disappointed if you like shopping. Las Vegas has every thing from Prada to Fendi.

     Monte Carlo Resort Casino Fire

On January 25, 2008 at around 11:00 AM local time, a three-alarm fire broke out on the exterior of the upper floors and roof of the casino. Portions of the hotel facade burned and fell off the hotel, starting smaller fires on a ledge three floors below. The fire was fully contained an hour after it began. It was an exterior fire, although there was water damage to five rooms. It had been reported that welders were working on the roof of the Monte Carlo and could have started the fire. Inspectors will need to review the facility before reopening the hotel. Monte Carlo guests are being accommodated at nearby MGM Mirage sister properties. The Clark County Fire Chief stated 13 people suffered smoke inhalation. The ambulance company reported that 17 people with minor injuries were taken to area hospitals. Fire Chief Steve Smith credited the 120 firefighters for quickly containing the fire, as the sprinkler system could not reach outside.

I used to live just about twenty miles away from Las Vegas. It was easy for me to hop in my car at the end of the week and hit the casinos for a few hours. I was able to place a bet whenever I wanted to, and I admit that I became a bit spoiled with gambling. After all, there’s nothing like being able to play craps, poker, blackjack, or slots anytime you desire. However, when I transferred to another state, my weekend casino trips were no longer practical. I had to plan an all-out gambling vacation whenever I wanted to gamble.

My reservation is one of the oldest reservations that was established in the state, and it also used to be the poorest. Living conditions used to terrible and tribe members have been suffering in poverty until they built the Indian casino on the southern end of our reservation. During its initial years that casino was just a simple steel building that had a restaurant area, a few blackjack tables and only one hundred slot machines were available. A conference and event center that host many concerts each year was also added. Because of the success of the casino they have opened another one about 45 miles away. The casino business has helped us by creating many jobs in our area. The area has also reaped benefits from increased gasoline, bait and tackle, and shopping sales. Apart from the revenue of the local businesses, the living conditions on the reservation have also improved. After operating for years the question is how can casinos make customers happy and get them to spend more in the machines or on the tables when they are in a good mood. Is it making the family happy with Star Trek Experiences or seeing sharks in the middle of the desert or is it marvelling over a real Picasso while you have a coffee and breakfast in one of the casino's restaurants? Amazing promotions and mind blowing entertainment People are looking for more than gambling they are looking for entertainment which makes them stay longer and it keeps the whole family happy.

 
Why should someone fly overseas to see the Eiffel Tower when you can see one exactly the same and more at a resort which is much closer? I find casinos fascinating and the exciting things that go on to get people to the casino where they will be entertained with delights which will blow their minds and oh there is the casino as well. My favourite is that some casinos invited guests to visit their resort during the 1950's and 60's to view the testing of the atomic bomb in the Nevada desert which was about 65 miles away.
